The Killaloe unit of the Irish Coast Guard was tasked to separate incidents in Co Tipperary on Saturday.
The volunteer unit dispatched members to assist other services at Coolbawn Quay on the Tipperary shore. The alarm was raised at around 5.00pm.
The Lough Derg RNLI lifeboat was also tasked from its base at Dromineer while the Shannon-based Irish Coast Guard helicopter, Rescue 115, was dispatched to the incident.
Killaloe Coast Guard sent personnel by boat and by road. The National Ambulance Service and An Garda SÃochána dispatched resources to the scene along with units of Tipperary Fire and Rescue Service from Borrisokane station.
Emergency services were stood down at around 7.00pm.
Meanwhile, a short time later, Killaloe Coast Guard was tasked for a second time to Co Tipperary.
Just minutes after crews returned from Coolbaun Quay at around 7.20pm, they were requested to mobilise again and assist in a search for a missing person in north Tipperary.
Land search and drone teams responded to join Tipperary Civil Defence in the operation. The National Ambulance Service and Gardaà also attended the incident.
