A community of volunteers from across industry and education in the Mid West have begun producing up to 5,000 face shields per week for nursing home workers and other frontline staff.
Frontline HSE workers in the mid-west now have access to a ‘express lane’ at a Garda Covid-19 checkpoint to ensure they can get to or home from work without delay.
Clare County Council has added a Freephone number to support the community response Helpline. The existing number will continue to operate fully in an integrated way.
