
Clare recorded an impressive victory over Kilkenny this afternoon when the side’s met in round 2 of the the Allianz National Hurling League at Cusack Park in Ennis this afternoon.
The Banner swept the Cat’s aside with a convincing 13 point advantage at the final whistle.

Wolfe Tone’s Aron Shanagher shone for Clare notching up a respectable 1-4 for the home side. It was he and his clubmate Aaron Cunningham who scored Clare’s goal, one in each half.
The Banner enjoyed a 1-9 to 0-8 lead at half time and then scored a further 1-10 to Kilkenny’s 0-4 in the second half.
