Shannon Airport’s winter schedule is set to receive a welcome boost with news that Ryanair will fly to Malaga through the winter months.
Ryanair is expected to confirm that following a 7-year break, it will operate a winter service on the route.
The news comes just weeks after the airline confirmed that it’s discontinuing operations on the Paris Beauvais route and cutting back on others.
Ryanair cited “aircraft capacity constraints” for the scheduled changes.
The airline will however continue services to Malaga through the winter months commencing in October.
The flights will operate each Tuesday and Saturday further enhancing Shannon’s winter sun programme that already includes Lanzarote, Tenerife and Fuerteventura.
