The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group will receive €20,800

Nine coastal communities in County Clare are set to benefit from €119,073 investment.

Minister of State for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection, Pat Breen said, “This is great news for coastal communities here in Clare and I am delighted so many wonderful local projects are set to benefit from this funding.

“Our local FLAG group is providing a great source of investment for seafood and marine projects in our coastal communities. More than 800 projects in seven coastal regions have benefitted from EMFF funding since the present FLAG scheme was launched in 2017.

“The Scheme continues to positively impact on coastal communities in Ireland, including our own here in Clare,” he said.

“The high number of successful projects funded this year reflects both the quality of the projects and the hard work of our local communities through the local FLAG Boards,”  added Minster Breen.
