Clare County Council and Clare County Fire and Rescue Service are urging members of the public and businesses not to supply any waste material to persons who do not hold a valid waste collection permit.
Used furniture and household items that have been restored and upcycled by community and voluntary organisations from across Clare have been placed on display in the foyer of Áras Contae an Chláir as part of National Reuse Month.
Clare County Council has opened Books of Condolence for the late Anthony Foley (1973-2016) at Áras Contae an Chláir in Ennis and at the Killaloe Electoral Area Office in Scarriff.
Community and residents groups from across Clare gathered at Áras Contae on Chláir for the annual Clare County Council Community Awards Night during which the winners of the ‘Best Kept Local Authority Estates’, ‘Clare in Bloom’ and ‘Clare Pride of Place’ competitions for 2016 were announced.
