Clare GAA Secretary Pat Fitzgerald has announced he's stepping down from the role next month.

Frustration is growing with an inability from GAA hierarchies across the country to nail down dates for club championships.

Joe Cooney has been returned to the role of Clare GAA Chairperson for a second year.

Secretary of Clare GAA, Pat Fitzgerald in his annual report to County Convention which takes place this Wednesday has expressed his disappointment with the level of criticism directed at the former county senior hurling management following their departure from the championship earlier this year.

Clare GAA has joined forces with Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann Inis 2016 to encourage players, club members and supporters to get behind the Fleadh and volunteer some of their time between 14th – 22nd August.
