Progress on Meelick waste water scheme

The land acquisition process is currently underway to facilitate a major upgrade of the waste water scheme in the Meelick/Ballycannon area and it is expected that construction will get under way next year.

Works to end discharge of sewage into Fergus

Irish Water, working in partnership with Clare County Council, is progressing plans to deliver the Clarecastle Sewerage Scheme that will end the discharge of raw sewage into the River Fergus and Shannon Estuary.
