A tribute song to Munster and Irish legend Anthony Foley will be launched during halftime in this weekend’s rugby international between Ireland and New Zealand at Aviva Stadium.
The Late Anthony Foley’s legacy shone bright again on a global stage today as the students of LIT entered the Guinness World Records with ‘Scrum for Axel’.
The world’s largest scrum looks set to take place at Limerick Institute of Technology in the shadow of Thomond Park next week in memory of Anthony Foley.
It was a case of Thomond Park meets Shannon Airport on Thursday as over 120 students from schools in Clare and Limerick entertained passengers with a tour de force of rugby songs and tunes.
