Bunratty Castle & Folk Park and Craggaunowen Bronze Age Park in Co. Clare took part in the ‘Plant for our Planet’ initiative this week with tree planting ceremonies to celebrate National Tree Week. 

Craggaunowen – the Living Past Experience, in Kilmurry, Co. Clare has launched its new educational trail at the award winning Pre-Historic park.

A ground-breaking story-telling programme is set to take Co. Clare primary school students right into the heart of life in Irish villages over 1,000 years ago.

There's no shortage of Easter entertainment across the nationally renowned Shannon Heritage attractions of King John’s Castle, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park and Craggaunowen as they are transformed into magical family playgrounds at the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend.

History will be made on board The Brendan boat on Saturday 9th July when explorer, adventurer, historian and writer Tim Severin makes a rare visit back to the boat’s home in Craggaunowen, Co. Clare to mark the 40th anniversary of the legendary Brendan Voyage.
