Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow thunderstorm warning for several areas including Clare for Sunday.
The weather service has said that heavy showers with thunderstorms are likely with a chance of hail.
The warning is for Co Clare as well as Connacht and counties Westmeath, Longford, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal.

Forecasters say the possible impacts of the storm are:
• Spot flooding
• Poor visibility
• Difficult travelling conditions
The warning will take effect at 1.00pm on Sunday and remain in place until 8.00pm (Sunday).
