Last minute rain warning issued for Clare

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Rain Warning for Clare which come into immediate effect.

The weather service had issued a similar to Kerry but this has now been extended to western parts of Cork, Limerick, Clare and Galway

The extended warning, issued at 10.34am today, will remain in place until midday on Monday.

Potential Impacts of the heavy rain include localised flooding; poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.
