LOR-KEY to premiere new song at Clare listening session

Independent artist LOR-KEY will host an intimate listening party for his debut EP, I AM THE KEY on Thursday 12th of June at The Cheese Press in Ennistymon, Co. Clare.

The event takes place one day before the EP’s official release, offering an exclusive first listen of the 7-track project that blends reggae, reggaeton, and afrobeats with a message of self-discovery, healing, and unity.

Known by his stage name LOR-KEY, Lorcan O’Garvey is a 24-year-old Irish-French artist who fuses modern reggae, reggaeton and afrobeats with African spirituality and universal storytelling. Having recently performed with his band LORKEY & The Lockpickers at Electric Picnic, he is now preparing for a full summer of live shows and festival appearances.

I AM THE KEY is a deeply personal body of work that explores Lorcan’s journey from inner questioning to empowerment. From the introspective title track I AM THE KEY to the festival-ready anthem ELEPHANT, each song unlocks a different chapter of the artist’s evolution.

Members of the press, local music supporters, and media representatives are warmly invited to attend the listening party on June 12th at 6.30 pm. LOR-KEY will perform a short acoustic set, share stories behind the EP, and connect with the local music community.
