Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses following a shooting incident in Ennis last week that resulted in three people being injured.
The ‘discharge of a firearm’ incident occurred at Dín na Hinse Estate in Ennis on the 24th July 2026 just after 7am.
During the incident a number of shots were fired at a house injuring three of the occupants.
Gardaí have now confirmed that the suspects left the scene in a Black Audi A3 vehicle.
Gardaí are requesting the assistance of any members of the public who may have observed the incident, or observed a Black Audi A3 in the area to come forward.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N85 at Claureen between 7am to 7.15am, and road users who travelled the N85 between Ennistymon and Ennis between 6am and 8am are also asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
