Safety advice during high temperatures

Ahead of the expected high temperatures in Ireland, Clare County Council is advising members of the public to be aware of a number of key safety messages.

Public warned of High Fire Risk 

The National Parks & Wildlife Service (NPWS) has appealed to members of the public to be conscious of the dangers posed by fire and to exercise extreme caution over this high risk period. 

Status Yellow – High Temperature warning for Clare

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow - High Temperature warning for Clare.

Check on older people during warm spell – ALONE

ALONE, the organisation which supports older people to age at home, is urging older people to be careful and take necessary precautions as temperatures are set to rise this week, following a high temperature advisory notice from Met Eireann.

Further to its previous High Temperature Advisory, Met Éireann has now issue a Status Yellow High Temperature Warning.

Road Safety Alert ahead of hot spell

The Road Safety Authority (RSA), is asking road users to exercise caution while using the roads from Sunday 17 July to Tuesday 19 July as Met Eireann has issued a weather advisory for High Temperatures.

Met Éireann has issued a weather warning for Co Clare.

Search for missing diver resumes this morning

The search for a diver missing off the west coast of Clare will continue today.
