Postcards from Ireland exhibition at Clare Museum

Award winning artist Kieran Carey has a new exhibition at Clare Museum in Ennis.

Winner of the esteemed Jackson Pollock/Krasner Award and graduate of the Limerick College of Art and Design, Carey is best known for creating works based on the landscape.

In his latest exhibition, ‘Postcards from Ireland’, he explores themes of Ireland, place and memory through a series of paintings and drawings.

Born in London, Casey graduated from the Limerick College of Art and Design in 1989. In 1994, he received the Jackson Pollock/Krasner Award while he was named winner of the Limerick’s City of Culture Professional Development Award in 2014.

The exhibition is free and open at Clare Museum from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.
