Revenue officers based at Shannon Airport have seized 25kg of herbal cannabis believed to be worth over €500,000.
The seizure was made during routine operations, with the assistance of detector dog Brody.
The illicit drugs were discovered in a shipment originating in the US and was destined for an address in the Mid-West.

This seizure is part of Revenue’s ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
