Students from St Anne’s Special School in Ennis are busily preparing for their annual Embrace Arts and People with Disabilities exhibition and performance event at glór, Ennis, on 9th May at 1.00 p.m.
The upcoming event will feature a visual arts exhibition and live performances and will be followed by a screening of “Safeguarding’’, a new film created by members of the Brothers of Charity, Kilrush, at 2.15 p.m.
Second, third and fourth class pupils are currently devising and rehearsing their musical acts with musician and Embrace facilitator Claire Watts.
Run by Clare County Arts Office and supported by the Arts Council of Ireland, the Embrace Programme for Arts and People with Disabilities provides opportunities for individuals to engage with a wide range of art forms.
