Professor Vincent Cunnane has this week began his first term as President of the Limerick Institute of Technology.
A native of Donegal, Cunnane was appointed to the position in May succeeding Dr. Maria Hinfelaar who served in the role since 2004.

This week saw the beginning of the 2016/17 first semester and the former CEO of Shannon Development was there to welcome students making the transition from secondary school to a third level institute.
