National highest achiever award for Hensey

Clare student Nell Hensey was honoured by the Art Teachers Association of Ireland with a prestigious award.

Hensey was received one of the four Highest Achiever Awards for 2016. A former pupil at Coláiste Mhuire in Ennis, Nell had the highest mark in the written section of the history and appreciation of the subject at higher level.

Since her Leaving Certificate, Nell has started college at University College Dublin.

The Art Highest Achiever Awards were on Saturday at The Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Royal Hospital Kilmainham.
